Ilana’s Simple Swaps: Oatmeal Breakfast Edition!
Recipe:
Weight Loss
- 1/3 cup of dry oats
- 1/3 cup of water
- 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt
- 3/4 cup of berries
- 1 teaspoon of nut butter
- 1 teaspoon of dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon of raisin
Weight Maintenance
- 1/2 cup of dry oats
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup of berries
- 1 tablespoon of nut butter
- 1 tablespoon of raisins
- 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips
Weight Gain
- 1 cup of dry oats
- 1 cup of water
- ¼ cup of Greek yogurt
- 2-3 tablespoons of dark chocolate chips
- 2-3 tablespoons of raisins
- A heaping tablespoon of nut butter
Oatmeal can make a great breakfast but I notice with my clients that it needs a decent pop of protein to work best for weight loss.
If you don’t eat dairy, you can also cook your oats with egg whites or pair them with a plant-based protein powder. #ilanassimpleswaps
