1 cup oats
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or vegan butter
1/2 Tbsp cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice)
10-12 green apples, sliced (I prefer to keep the skin on)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray. Layer the sliced apples so there are at least 3-5 layers of apple. Smaller, deeper baking dishes work well. In a separate bowl, combine the oats, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Using your fingers, pinch and crumble the ingredients until well combined. Layer the oat mixture over the sliced apples. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Option to top with a Cinnamon Vanilla Wonder Whip made by combining plain nonfat Greek yogurt (can use dairy free alternative) with vanilla extract, stevia, and cinnamon to taste. Enjoy!!!
