My egg white pizzas will change your life if they haven’t already! I invented them in high school and have eaten THOUSANDS since! You will too!!! The whole delicious “pie” has 120 fewer calories than 1 regular slice, plus 8 more grams of protein and is essentially carb-free!
- 2/3 cup – Liquid Egg Whites
- 1/4 cup – Tomato Sauce
- 1/4 cup – Shredded Cheese or 1 light cheese stick
Spray your pan with non-stick spray. Pour in liquid egg whites. Now the trick is to let your eggs sit and cook at medium heat. When the egg whites start to firm up, you’ll want to use your spatula to expose all egg whites to the pan and let it sit and cook. To check if done, carefully tap the egg white crust with a clean finger to check for doneness. You’re looking for it to be slightly firm and fully cooked through and nothing is left on your finger after touching it. Add the tomato sauce on top of the egg white crust and use your spatula to spread it around. Then top it with your shredded cheese, or sausage or pepperoni, have fun with it! When the cheese is melted, you can sprinkle some fresh basil, garlic powder, chili flakes, you name it! Then slide it right out of the pan onto your plate. Dig in!
